Bath in Rotorua

Friday, May 7th. I went to the Ohinemutu village with a group of people from Hong Kong. I met them while I was soaking my feet in the hot pools. They had a van so I got a lift there and back into town afterwards.




Ohinemutu was a tribal village but there wasn't much to see there because all the guides were out so it was a bit boring. Not good value for money.

In the evening, my host invited me to take a bath in the Maori communal baths. This area was only for the Maori people, or an invite from a Maori would do. This was way out of my comfort zone, but hey, I'm on holiday... perfect time to do crazy stuff. I was assured that people don't sit there to perv on others.
